I was born on 16 november 1953 in Gilze in the Netherlands and am currently living in Overveen with my wife and 2 children, some 20 km's west of Amsterdam at walking distance from the dunes and the shores of the Northsea.

After the grammar school I graduated as an electronics engineer and started to work for a major engineering company as an Instrument Engineer.

I have been programming since 1975, first in Fortran and Basic, later in Visual Basic and since 1996 in Delphi. Published my first website in september 1997 with virtually no visitors at all until june 1998 when I started to publish freeware that I wrote with Delphi 4.

Interests

Besides programming which is part of my technical side, I have also written some 2000 poems, 100 essays and over a 1000 letters. Not to show off with numbers but to give you an idea about life besides programming. Since 1985 I am an active member of the anthroposophical society. During the last three years I have been giving courses and lectures on spiritual life and meditation, and made walks in nature with small groups of people helping them to get in touch with the spirit of the world that we live in.
